Second generation of the Fogiel family continues the “Great Steaks, No Bull” tradition across four Texas locations
DALLAS-FORT WORTH, TEXAS — For more than 45 years, Hoffbrau Steak & Grill House has served Certified Angus Beef® steaks, chicken-fried steak, burgers, and made-from-scratch Texas comfort food to families across the state. Founded in Dallas in 1978, the restaurant group has grown from a single location into a beloved regional brand with locations in Amarillo, Benbrook, Granbury, and Haltom City — while remaining entirely family owned and operated.
Hoffbrau Steaks opened its doors in 1978 with a simple mission: serve the best-tasting steaks made with the best ingredients, paired with genuinely friendly service in a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere. A second location followed in Fort Worth in 1982, and in 1986 the restaurant found its long-term stewards when Aron and Rainey Fogiel took ownership. Under their leadership, the company expanded steadily into Benbrook, Haltom City, Amarillo, and Granbury, building a reputation for quality, consistency, and hospitality along the way.
In 2020, the Fogiels’ children, Natalie Fogiel Moon and Patrick, joined the family business, marking the start of a second generation of leadership while preserving the founding values that have defined Hoffbrau since day one.

Signature menu items include the Bone-In Cowboy Ribeye, Dr Pepper® BBQ Pork Ribs, Pan-Seared Jumbo Shrimp, Three Cheese Mac-n-Cheese, and the candied-bacon-topped Brazos Burger.
Beyond the menu, Hoffbrau has spent more than four decades investing in the communities it serves, partnering with organizations such as the North Texas Food Bank, the Salvation Army, Night to Shine, area Chambers of Commerce, and local school districts across Amarillo, Benbrook, Granbury, and Haltom City.
Today, Hoffbrau Steak & Grill House operates four locations across Texas, each carrying forward the same formula that has defined the brand since 1978: quality ingredients, scratch-made cooking, and a “we’ve never met a stranger” approach to hospitality.
