Hoffbrau Steaks On Knox St.

Thank you for stopping by the Hoffbrau Steaks Blog! We value our customers and always want to keep them up-to-date with the latest specials and current news on Hobbrau. We wanted to take a second to share with you some things that you may not have known about the history of Hoffbrau Steaks.

Knox Street

For those of you who don’t know, Mike Powers started Hoffbrau Steaks on Knox St. in Dallas back in 1978.  That location has since shut down.  We now have 5 locations in Texas (Amarillo, Arlington, Dallas West End, Ft. Worth and Haltom City) with one more opening in Granbury, TX.   Our Ft. Worth location just celebrated its 27th Anniversary and our Haltom City Location just celebrated its 10th.

One Salad Dressing?

It is true, for many years Hoffbrau Steaks only offered one salad with one type of dressing already mixed in.  We still offer the original dressing; you just have more options now.  One thing that hasn’t changed about our food is the recipe for our steak.  We have only used salt, pepper, and our special lemon sauce to season our steaks since the very beginning.  We believe that a quality steak will taste good without a lot of seasoning.

Future of Hoffbrau

We are currently about to launch a new location in Granbury, TX.  Granbury has proved itself to be a great location for tourism with Dinosaur Valley State Park nearby and the Granbury Opera House right downtown.   Our Granbury location will also have a large bar with 24 beers on tap and kept at 36 degrees which is the perfect temperature for a nice cold beer.

We love our long time customers and love meeting new customers each and every week. Hoffbrau has been a constant in the state of Texas for the past 30 years and we look forward to another 30 years as the best steakhouse in Texas.
