The Meaning of a Mission Statement

What does it mean for a small, “family-owned” company like Hoffbrau Steaks to have a mission statement?

Simply put, the best mission statements are clear and simple commitments that explain who you are, what you do, what you stand for, and why you get up and do it each and every day.

“A small body of determined spirits fired by an unquenchable faith in their mission can alter the course of history”
~Mahatma Gandhi

Hoffbrau Steaks’ mission statement is the clearest way we can connect with all the great people who make what we do possible.  From the host who greets your party; to the guests who decide to be our fans; the family who chooses to spend their hard-earned dollars on our ribeyes; and the college student who saves on the summers waiting tables; to the fantastic vendor who delivers our amazing sourdough bread; or the Blue Bell we couldn’t live without.

For all of these folks, as a written affirmation to those of us who agreed upon it together, and a guiding principle for all those that join us in the future, these words are the clearest picture of who we are, who we want to be, and how we intend to get there.

To build and operate, responsible, profitable steakhouses by empowering each other to be difference makers.  We create value by being consistently engaged in “WOW-ing” our Guest’s 5 senses:
Sight, Sound, Taste, Touch, Smell
& the 6th sense…anticipating what our guest’s want.
